Let There Be Light

Coronal Mass Ejections from Solar Maximum Cycle 24

Phoenix, Arizona2013

Attention: Looking into the sun can cause blindness, discomfort and deep reflection.

Every 11 years the Earth enters a shooting gallery.

The solar storm of July 23 2012 was an unusually large and strong coronal mass ejection (CME) event. The region that produced the outburst was not pointed directly towards the Earth at that time. It just missed the Earth with a margin of approximately nine days.

If it had happened nine days earlier a direct hit could have been catastrophic as electrical grids and satellites are disrupted or destroyed. If a large solar storm hit the Earth directly, large parts of society could be without electrical power and communication for months or years.

"Let There Be Light" and the following images have been manipulated from actual videos of the sun between 2012 and 2013 as the Sun entered the Solar Maximum.

At Solar Maximum, the Sun’s magnetic field lines are the most distorted due to the magnetic field on the solar equator rotating at a slightly faster pace than at the solar poles.

Large solar flares often occur during a Solar Maximum.

Throughout 2012 & 2013  there was increased solar activity and a large number of Coronal Mass Ejections...

Solar Maximum with Portal #4 (Animated Detail)

Acrylic on Canvas 16 x 20 in.Phoenix, Arizona 2012

Many portals were activated though which we all fell.

Places that are linked by a portal include a different spot in the same universe (in which case it might be an alternative for teleportation); a parallel world (inter-dimensional portal); the past or the future (time portal); and other planes of existence, such as heaven, hell or other afterworlds

Portals are similar to the cosmological concept of a wormhole, and some portals work using wormholes.

The next Solar Maximum will occur between 2023 and 2026
